SUN HELLERUD studied Musical Instrument Technologies at Lincoln College, Newark Campus, graduating in 2014. After years of working in the field for reputable local music shops she saw there was a need for a personalised service, catering for both students and professionals, offering evening opening times and flexible time schedules. As a result she started up SH Music out of her home workshop in Reading, Berkshire in 2019. From her workshop we repairs both woodwind and brass instruments and offers online and in person training to musicians and repairers to expand on their knowledge and skillset. She hosts courses for musicians to learn repair in the a local music shop and runs a popular social media page Technically Musical which aims to provide information, support and training to both musicians and repairers worldwide.
